Sister Circle Supper
w. Kashmere Siedah
The Sister Circle Supper is a 75 minute restorative yoga class and poetry reading followed by meditation and journaling exercises while we eat, chat, and listen. This is a safe(r) space for those with willing hearts and open minds who wish to use their voice, be heard, and listen.
This circle's passage will be from Ntozake Shange's "for colored girls who have considered suicide / when the rainbow is enuf."
The Sister Circle is a place to take a step forward, physically and emotionally, towards restoration. Sisters have come together to rest, shed, witness and renew in community, on yoga mats, and in their journals.
Kashmere Siedah, longtime Abide teacher, leads. This special class is open to all.
