an Abide Immersion 2020

nourishing & healing practices to cultivate creativity and joy.

This 40 hour immersion meets monthly to inspire deep connection with yourself, others, and the rhythms of nature. We’ll examine self and community care practices and holistic nourishment, dive into your unique constitutions, and hold space for authentic and creative expression to catalyze your journey. A fulfilling blend of workshop style explorations and retreat-style rest and play. Join us for five months of sense-of-wonder maintenance, and to walk a few more steps on your healing path.

Some of our practices will include: meditation, nature, creative forming, journaling, philosophy, accessible movement practices, poetry, and rest as we work toward the ever shifting point of balance. We’ll look through various lenses to help understand ourselves, our rhythms, and our needs, promoting self love, self worth, and an endless journey of curiosity in the relationship to self and others.


This program is for you if:

  • You are drawn to this program, and the idea of more beauty, more magic and more joy in your everyday life

  • You are an empath looking for skills on how to navigate your gifts

  • You are interested in learning more about yourself, understanding your “true nature” (and becoming kinder to yourself in the process)

  • You are ready to (re)claim a curious and creative perspective

  • You are a human being

  • You are a healer, facilitator or a yoga teacher seeking fresh inspiration for your personal practice and your work

  • You are a caregiver of any sort, including a guardian, parent, doula, teacher, social worker, doctor, nurse, or therapist and know that you need to refill your own well

  • You are looking for the connection of a dynamic and thoughtful community

  • Your body or your emotions are feeling stuck and you’re ready to free them up

  • You are ready to explore and commit to practices that support your healing and wellbeing

  • You have recently gone through a difficult time, and are looking to find more goodness among the grieving

  • You are looking to live a life with your feet on the ground and your eyes and heart open

  • You want to experience and contribute to a community centered around healing, wellbeing, and openness

This program may not be for you if:

  • You are resistant to doing deep work in the presence of others (you can feel resistant but must be open to removing the resistance!)

  • Are concerned you may feel unsafe feeling your emotions and do not have a support system to help you navigate what might come up

  • You are looking for a yoga teacher training (this isn’t it, but Abide offers one of those, too!)

Please Note: This program is not designed to be used in place of therapy, and we are not therapists.


Winter - Spring 2020 Dates:

Saturday, January 11 (1pm - 6pm) and Sunday, January 12 (1pm - 5pm)

Saturday, February 8 (1-6pm)

Saturday, March 7 (1-6pm), and Sunday, March 8 (1-5pm)

Saturday, April 4 (1-6pm)

Saturday, May 2 (1-6pm), and Sunday, May 3 (1-5pm)

Sunday dates include the option to stay for the Sunday evening, 5:30pm class at Abide Yoga - Danielle’s “Chill Flow” (accessible to all levels and body types).


Early Registration Investment (until November 1, 2019):

$999.00, pay in full (receive a 5 class pass to Abide Yoga for you or a friend, a $70 value)

Registration closes January 3, 2020

Deposits are non-refundable after December 1, 2019. Payment plans can not be cancelled after the start of the program.
